I am THRILLED to welcome all incoming students to the Spring 2014 semester of LBU: Secrets to Wholesale Success! The diversity and talent among this semester’s group is particularly inspiring. Here’s a peek at LBU, by the numbers:
The participants are 100% women.
They hail from 14 states and 4 countries (U.S., Canada, Trinidad, Australia).
The oldest business was founded in 1983 and the newest in 2013.
We have a diverse range of product categories represented: mineral makeup, handmade soaps, spa products, jewelry, children’s apparel, gourmet foods, ceramics. (LBU is not industry-specific… past participants have also included stationery companies, textile designers and photographers!)
15 of the 26 students currently offer their products on the wholesale market. Those 15 businesses have a combined total of 77 active wholesale accounts.
4 of the 26 students have employed sales reps.
8 of the 26 have exhibited at trade shows.
Over the next couple of months, I’ll be interacting daily with these ladies as we work to blow the doors off their wholesale programs to give them more leverage, more flexibility, greater exposure and higher profits (can I get an Amen?)! LBU participants enjoy more than 12 hours of video workshops, 75+ pages of handouts (plus: trade show databases, resource lists, sample contracts and form templates, etc.), 10 hours of live coaching calls, 6 case studies, my Price-O-Matic software and 24/7 support + interaction at our private Facebook community. It’s a whole lot of goodness and I am so eager to dive into it with them.
This is the third time I’ve offered my LBU program and every last seat has been claimed in less than a week each time I’ve opened registration. The program will be offered again in the fall (with the possible addition of a summer semester). Want me to carve your name on a desk? Hop on my mailing list and you’ll be the first to know when we open the floodgates once again.
The yearbook for this semester is below (feel free to click it to enlarge the image). Keep an eye on these ladies… they’re on the move!
